Portsmouth Green, located 3 miles from the Portsmouth waterfront and downtown, is a newly redesigned mixed-use lifestyle center including fashion boutiques, fitness operators, a full-service grocery store, 10-screen movie theater and restaurants. The Veridian Residences is conveniently located in the Portsmouth Green shopping district and features a cutting-edge contemporary design, sustainable building materials, and excellent community amenities.
THE CHALLENGE
We were approached by the Mount Vernon Company, a Boston based real estate investment firm, to design a brand identity system for a mixed-use lifestyle center and a yet-to-be-built apartment complex in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Mount Vernon Company partnered with Torrington Properties to acquire and redesign the Portsmouth Green shopping district, and would be building an apartment complex on site. The contemporary residences would be marketed to young professionals in the Portsmouth area. We were tasked with assisting in naming the apartment complex, co-branding the residences and lifestyle center, creating promotional materials and signage, and designing a website to showcase the residences.
SOLUTIONS
We started by assisting with naming and designing two co-branded identity systems. To market the development we created business and promotional materials and exterior and interior signage. We then designed a website to showcase the Veridian’s apartments and common spaces, and Portsmouth Green’s community amenities.
