THE CHALLENGE

Since 1931, Young’s Bicycle Shop has been providing excellent service to their customers in a fun and friendly environment while supporting the local Nantucket community. The shop holds a prominent spot on Broad Street in downtown Nantucket and greets all Steamship passengers arriving on island. Young’s branding and visual identity has gone through numerous updates and variations over the years and lacked a cohesive brand identity system.

SOLUTIONS

Our goal was to refresh Young’s existing brand identity assets while honoring the history of the family business and of Nantucket. We refined their iconic wheel logo and brought back red as the primary brand color. We also developed a system of consistent type styles and graphic elements that will enable them to effectively market across all media.
